BBVA president & chief operating officer Angel Cano is convinced that “healthy banks have to make a commitment to Spanish society and contribute actively to the revival of lending.” In this regard “a solvent and responsible financial sector is necessary to boost growth of the Spanish economy”, he said today at the Spanish Federation of Business Organizations (CEOE) annual general meeting.
